Police Reports: Hookah Pipe Stolen From Lounge

Hookah Pipe Stolen from Koullshi Lounge

Police are looking for two individuals who allegedly stole a hookah water pipe from Koullshi Lounge, 83 Main St. on Tuesday, March 5.

Officers responded to the business at around 1 a.m. for the report of a larceny in progress. The manager told police that two individuals had fled the establishment with one of the brass water pipes used in the restaurant. A witness was able to recall the first names of the two individuals.

Boston Police detectives are also reviewing security cameras from the business.

Warrant Arrest on Corey Street

During a drug investigation on Corey Street on Friday, March 8, police identified and arrested an individual who had an outstanding warrant for assorted motor vehicle violations out of Chelsea District Court.

Harassing Phone Calls Reported

A Harvard Street resident contacted police on Friday, March 8 after receiving a suspicious phone call from someone requesting $900 for an overdue loan.

According to reports, the caller said that the woman had defaulted on a loan and needed to pay money over the phone to correct the issue, or she would receive a subpoena. The woman told the caller, who refused to give her more information, that she had no outstanding loans and would be contacting an attorney. The caller then hung up.

The woman received more calls from the same number but did not answer.

Bar Patron Pockets Another Person’s Cell Phone

A patron at a Main Street bar was arrested on Sunday, March 10 after allegedly pocketing another patron’s cell phone.

The cell phone owner told police that after noticing his phone was missing he called the number and heard it ringing in another patron’s pocket. The second person initially denied having the phone but eventually produced it, according to reports. Officers arrived on the scene and arrested the second individual.
