Police Seeking Woman Who Spat at MBTA Employee

The subject allegedly spat at an MBTA bus operator of a Route 41 bus near the intersection of Columbia Road and Annabel Street.

Transit Police are seeking the identity of the photographed individual, who allegedly spat at an MBTA employee.

On Wednesday, April 1, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the subject spat at the MBTA bus operator of a Route 41 bus near the intersection of Columbia Road and Annabel Street. The subject then assaulted the operator with an unknown object before fleeing the area.

The subject was described as an adult black woman with red highlights in her hair. She was wearing a pink The North Face jacket, black leggings and white sneakers, according to the MBTA Transit Police blog.

Those with information are being asked to call the Transit Police’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050. Anonymous tips could be sent via text to 873873 or through the MBTA See Say app.
