Sign-ups Open for Neighborhood Basketball League
Registration for the summer season runs now through June 17.

Teams, kids and individuals looking to play some basketball this summer can sign up for the Boston Neighborhood League.
The league is currently accepting registrations for teams who want to compete this summer, as well as individuals who wish to be placed on a team and youth interested in the Pee Wee program. The registration deadline is June 17, according to a press release from the city.
The BNBL season officially begins on July 5. There is a $10 registration fee for teams to participate in league. Registration forms can be picked up at the Charlestown Community Center or Boston Center for Youth and Families Administrative Offices (1483 Tremont Street in Mission Hill). You can also download them by clicking the “summer” link at www.cityofboston.gov/bcyf.
The league will end on Aug. 20 after the conclusion of all playoff games.

The Boston Neighborhood Basketball League is the oldest municipal basketball league in the country and serves more than 3,000 young men and women in four divisions: Pee Wee, 13 and under, 15 and under, and 18 and under. I
