State Police Recover Body From Charles River

Police pulled a male body from the Boston side of the river on Monday afternoon.

The body of a man was pulled from the Charles River on Monday afternoon, Massachusetts State Police officials said.

According to police, the body was pulled from the Boston side of the river. The man’s body was discovered near the Boston University Sailing Pavillon around 1 p.m.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released by police officials, but the Suffolk County DA’s office believes he was in his 40s.

It is not clear what caused the man’s death. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
