State Primary 2014: Unofficial Results from Charlestown, Boston
City residents voted for Martha Coakley and Charlie Baker to face off for Governor in November.

Tuesday’s State Primary Election is now wrapped up in Boston, with voters in town picking Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker as the candidates to run for Governor in this year’s state election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
For Charlestown, State Rep. Dan Ryan (D-Charlestown) won over challenger Roy Avellaneda of Chelsea for the Second Suffolk House District that covers both Charlestown and Chelsea. Ryan received 83 percent of the votes, while Avellaneda received 17 percent, according to the city’s unofficial results.
