CHELMSFORD, MA — Those closest to Susan Willand, the Chelmsford woman who has been missing since late December, are rallying to help pay her mortgage and other bills this year so that when she's found, she'll still have a home.

Willand's niece set up a GoFundMe, and in less than a day, more than 23 people have donated $2,245 to help keep her bills paid for one year, at $2,000 a month.

Around 7:30 a.m. December 20, Willand left her home in North Chelmsford without her phone, wallet, or keys. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Her family and friends took to social media and created a Facebook page @findsuew in the hopes that the more people who see her and know about her the faster they can bring her home safe.

"The sooner we can raise money to cover Sue's expenses the sooner we can refocus on all the tasks needed to find her," her niece said on the GoFundMe page.
