Latest Chelmsford police log: arrests for receiving stolen property, driving to endanger and more.

CHELMSFORD, MA — Chelmsford police last week arrested a Saugus man on a slew or charges after he allegedly failed to pull over for police. Also, police arrested four Lowell residents on charges ranging from shoplifting to trespassing. These incidents and more were included in the latest Chelmsford police log:

Monday, February 12

Melvin Rosario, 29, of Lowell, was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

Thursday, February 15

Mateus Machado, 32, of Lowell, was arrested and charged with operating without a license. Police said he also had a warrant.

Friday, February 16

Stephen Danca, 35, of Saugus, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, failure to stop for police, driving to endanger and a slew of vehicle violations.

Saturday, February 17

Marcelo DaSilva, 41, of Lowell, was arrested and charged with driving without being licensed and having defective equipment. He also had a warrant, police said.

Sunday, February 18

Deborah Porter, 60, of Lowell, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 and trespassing.
