LETTER: Chelmsford Needs Elected Officials like Janet Askenburg
The following is a letter to the editor

I am writing this letter of support of Janet Askenburg for the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen. Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving with Janet on the Chelmsford School Committee. This has given me the opportunity to witness the impressive leadership, experience, passion, and commitment that Janet brings to the team. Under her leadership as Chairman for the past two years, the School Committee has moved forward toward delivering excellence in education, while maintaining its fiscally responsible commitment to Chelmsford taxpayers.
Janet has successfully focused on delivering accountable leadership, transparency, and fiscal responsibility with a concise and goal oriented approach. As a School Committee member, I am proud of the work we have done to bring in a superintendent and administrative staff that has delivered efficiency and a clear direction for moving our school district to the next level during a very difficult financial period.

Working for you as a School Committee member, Janet has analyzed problems, weighed difficult choices, and made tough decisions in the best interest of Chelmsford schools, taxpayers, and most importantly our children. I am very proud of our accomplishments over the last three years of service. As a taxpayer, I am equally excited that Janet has decided to run for Selectman. On Tuesday, April 2nd I encourage you to vote for Janet Askenburg for Chelmsford Selectman.
Sincerely,
