Man Medflighted After Serious Crash on Rt. 3
One man was taken to Lahey Hospital with head injuries.
A man was transported to the hospital with serious head injuries after a crash on Route 3 southbound by Route 40.
Shortly before 11 a.m., local and State Police responded to the crash.
There was some difficulty in locating the vehicle as it was off the road and into the wood line, according to State Police. A neighbor said after the car crashed, the car's driver and passengar ran down the off ramp, one of them with serious head injuries. The neighbor called 9-1-1 to report what he'd seen.

Troopers located one victim with serious head injuries and they were transported by Med-Flight to Lahey Hospital, according to police.
Troopers are attempting to locate the second person that left the scene and possibly got into a taxi cab that left the area. State Police helicopters are above the scene now, searching for the second person.
