Narcotics Arrests, Assault Arrest, Warrant Arrest and a Skunk in the Basement

Monday, Aug. 3

At 12:22 a.m., an intoxicated man was reported on Tyngsboro Road.

At 4:18 a.m., a suspicious motor vehicle was reported in the area of Amble Road and Blacksmith Street.

At 9:20 p.m., following a motor vehicle stop, police arrested David M. Cote, 29, of Groton, and charged him with operating without a license and also on a warrant.

At 9:47 a.m., a loud noise was reported and a log entry was make for drug/narcotic offenses. Police arrested Christopher J. Gartland, 30, of Billerica, charging him with posession of a Class A substance. Taylor C. Moloney, 22, of Billerica, was also arrested and charged with possession of a Class A substance.

At 1:18 p.m., a person came into the lobby of the police station to report receiving harassing phone calls.

At 2:15 p.m., a skunk was reported to be in a basement on Manning Road.

At 7:18 p.m., a motor vehicle stop led to a warrant arrest of George Belt, 39, of Chelmsford.

At 8:58 p.m., a dog bite was reported.

At 9:20 p.m., Scott Demers, 33, of Chelmsford was arrest for domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property.

At 9:54 p.m., a possible past home break-in was reported.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

At 8:12 a.m., stolen construction trailer reported.

At 10:29 a.m., a suspicious man was reported to be yelling in a motor vehicle.

At 2:39 p.m., a person reported receiving harassing text messages.

At 3:09 p.m., Janet Road was reported to be flooded out.

At 5:03 p.m., a man who appeared intoxicated was reported near Hannaford Market.

At 6:05 p.m., a person reported receiving harassing calls from a neighbor.

At 9:39 p.m., a woman who was not from the area reported being lost on the walking trail at Manahan Street and Chelmsford Street.
