Patriots Punch Ticket for Super Bowl With 35-16 Drubbing of North Andover

Concord-Carlisle headed to first title game since 1978.

George Craan ran for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Concord-Carlisle to a 35-16 romp over North Andover in the Division 2A semifinals, and their first Super Bowl berth in more than 30 years.

Quarterback Peter George also had a big game, throwing for one score and rushing for another. Sophomore Tim Badgely also ran for more than 100 yards and added a score on a six-yard run.

North Andover jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, thanks, in large part, to a pair of Patriot fumbles. But Corcord Carlisle roared back to score on its next three possessions and take a 20-10 lead into halftime.
