Your Guide: Animal Stories Book Launch and Celebration

They’ll be celebrating the launch of two “Animal Stories” children’s book titles—The Hungry Wolf and Massha and the Bear—by Lari Don this Saturday, July 27, at Barefoot Books in Concord. 

A day of activities will begin at 10:30 a.m., including story times, crafts and an Animal Friends Picnic.

Children will be invited to grab a seat around Barefoot’s “Story Throne” at 10:30 a.m. and try their hands at making bear masks at 11 a.m., before the picnic at 11:30 a.m.

At the picnic, kids will be invited to bring animal friends—stuffed or leashed!—for some animal-themed snacks at the café tables outside the Thoreau Street bookstore.
