Danvers, MA – All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore joyfully announces its upcoming Pride Sunday celebration, which coincides with Trinity Sunday, a day that reflects the unity, love, and relationships at the heart of the Christian faith.

This special service, officiated by The Rev. Mary Scott Miller, will include a homily and the Holy Eucharist along with special music to honor and uplift our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters, as well as their friends and allies.

Trinity Sunday celebrates the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct persons in one divine essence, symbolizing diversity within unity. This sacred mystery resonates with the spirit of Pride Month, which affirms the dignity and inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals in society and faith communities. Both observances remind us that love is relational, transformative, and boundless.

The roots of Pride Month can be traced back to the Stonewall Riots of June 1969, a pivotal moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. The first Pride marches occurred in June 1970, marking a shift from protest to celebration and advocacy. Today, Pride Month is recognized globally as a time to honor the contributions, struggles, and triumphs of LGBTQ+ individuals.

At the heart of All Saints North Shore is the Episcopal Church’s commitment to welcoming all people with open hearts and open doors. Our faith calls us to love without condition, and our Pride Sunday celebration reflects that sacred promise. We invite everyone —community members, friends, and allies —to join us in this joyful, affirming celebration of faith, love, and unity.
