Crack Cocaine, Fentanyl Seized In Danvers Drug Trafficking Bust: Police
Beverly, Danvers, Peabody and Salem police coordinated the three-month investigation that led to charges against a Bronx, NY man.
DANVERS, MA — A Bronx, NY man is facing drug trafficking charges after police said a three-month investigation led to the seizure of more than 100 grams of crack cocaine and 200 grams of fentanyl at a Danvers traffic stop on Friday.
Beverly, Danvers, Peabody and Salem police coordinated the investigation that culminated with the stop on Friday morning at about 10 in Danvers.
Police said the drugs were hidden in candy bags in a concealed compartment of the car.

Police said Leury Soto, 26, was charged with two counts of drug trafficking.
"This investigation highlights the continued commitment of the Danvers Police Department and its law enforcement partners to disrupting illegal drug activity," Danvers police said, "reducing the impact of narcotics distribution networks, and protecting the safety of the community."
