Craigslist Scam Reported to Police
The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the log: Sunday Dec. 11 through Tuesday Dec. 13.
Sunday Dec. 11
- Devon Doucette, 17, of 199 Rainbow Terr. in Salem was arrested at at 6:54 p.m. on charges of shoplifting.
- A domestic dispute at 7:11 p.m. resulted in a 26-year-old Beverly male being placed in protective custody.
Monday Dec. 12

- Police followed up with a Sherwood Ave residence at 1:39 p.m. after a child playing with the phone dialed 911.
- Hypodermic needles were recovered from Green Street at 4:18 p.m.
- At 7:06 p.m. police arrested Katelyn Mason, 19, of 12 Albion St., in Salem, and Alissa Narvaez, 18, of 12 First St., in Salem, both on charges of shoplifting more than $250 in merchandise from .
- At 10:40 p.m. police were notified by a residence on Cherry Street of a Craiglist scam on the Internet. The situation is still under investigation.
Tuesday Dec. 13
- A hypodermic needle was recovered from Green Street at 7:04 a.m.
- An individual gave police cash they had found while shopping at at 3:45 p.m.
