Danvers Election Schedule: Town Election May 2
Nomination papers are due on March 21 for positions on the Board of Selectmen and elsewhere.

DANVERS, MA – Danvers election nomination papers became available on Feb. 1, and are due back in the Town Clerk's office by March 21, by 5 p.m.
There are six town meeting vacancies, according to the Danvers election calendar, including one seat on the Board of Selectmen, two on the School Committee, three for the Peabody Institute Library Trustees, one for the Danvers Housing Authority, and the town moderator seat.
The annual town election will be on Tuesday, May 2. Nomination papers must have at least 50 valid signatures, except for officials seeking reelection. Those seeking reelection must sign an affirmation and submit it to the Town Clerk by March 14.

The last day to register to vote in the May 2, annual town meeting is Wednesday, April 12.
