Danvers High School Evacuated Following Bomb Threat

Threat was determined to be low level, similar to numerous other threats made across state Thursday morning.

Danvers, MA - Danvers High School was evacuated early Thursday morning after it received an anonymous bomb threat through an automated call.

School, police, and fire officials evaluated the situation and determined it was a low level threat, similar to numerous other calls across the state Thursday morning.

In a letter to parents and guardians, Superintendent Lisa Dana said the schools will continue to be vigilant to ensure the safety of students and faculty.
