Danvers To Host Juneteenth Celebration On Tuesday

The event will include poetry, songs and remarks in front of town hall.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents are invited to attend the town's fifth annual Juneteenth Celebration on Tuesday.

The event will be held in front of Town Hall starting at 2 p.m. with a ceremony set to include poetry, songs and remarks.

The North Shore Juneteenth Association will lead the event.

Town offices will be closed on Thursday in recognition of Juneteenth.

Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week, with Friday's collection occurring on Saturday.
