Danvers Peak Savings Electric Program Kicks Off
Danvers residents and businesses in good standing with their electric bills can sign up for the Peak Savings Program.

DANVERS, MA – The Danvers Peak Savings Program started on Thursday, June 15, and will run until September. The program alerts people to reduce their electricity use during times of peak electricity usage (the hottest days of summer), and residents earn rewards for their participation.
Participating in the program is free, and reducing energy usage isn't necessary for every peak event. The program helps the town save money on power costs. According to the Peak Savings website, the program went from around 800 participants in 2015 to more than 1,200 users in 2016.
Businesses and residents can sign up for the program by clicking here.
