Danvers Police Rescue Trapped Swan
Danvers Police said the swan was reunited with his girlfriend.

DANVERS, MA – How's this for a swan song? According to a post on the Danvers Police Facebook page, officers got a call of a swan stuck in the fence on Thursday morning.
Police found that the swan wasn't injured, but had landed in a fenced-in area behind Electric Light, and seemed like he couldn't escape. The post said "resident animal love" Officer Tibbetts and Danvers Electric Light employee Chelsea King wrapped the swan in a blanket, and dropped him off at Mill Pond's shore.
To top it all off, the swan seemed to have been reunited with his girlfriend. In photos posted to the Danvers Police Facebook page, the rescued swan is seen making a beeline for one of his kind.
