Gloucester Seafood Restaurant Owner To Open Second Location In Downtown Danvers

The Select Board approved a license transfer to Salt Water Grille owner Jack Fallon to open a Danvers location at 50 Maple Street.

DANVERS, MA — The owner of a popular Gloucester seafood, burgers and spirits establishment is planning to open a second location in downtown Danvers.

The Danvers Select Board on Tuesday approved a license transfer from the former Unity Victuals location to Salt Water Grille owner Jack Fallon.

Fallon told the Board that the second location will be a smaller version — about half the size — of the space on Washington Street in Gloucester. It is planned to have 14 bar seats and 22 tables.

"We're excited to be part of the community," Fallon told the Select Board. "We looked at a lot of the local places and I think we have found (on Maple Street) a possibility to really provide enjoyable, fresh seafood right from Gloucester to Danvers.

The Gloucester location opened in 2019.
