Highway Crash in Danvers Sends One to the Hospital

One person is in the hospital after a single car crash on Route 95 in Danvers this morning.

According to police, it happened on the northbound side on Exit 50. Police say no other cars were involved in the accident. All traffic was shut down while the victim was airlifted to the hospital.

Right now, Route 95 southbound is open. Only the left lane on Route 95 northbound is open.

There is no word yet on how the accident happened. The victim’s condition is unknown.
