There are now 16 prospective jurors for the trial of a teenager accused of raping and murdering his teacher back in 2013

Jury selection resumed today in the trial of a Massachusetts teenager charged with raping and killing his math teacher at Danvers High School in 2013.

There are now 16 prospective jurors, seven women and nine men, who are in line to decide whether 16-year-old Phillip Chism killed 24-year-old Andover native Colleen Ritzer.

Jury selection started last month, but was suspended after Chism’s lawyers expressed concerns about his competence.
