MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes when possible to avoid delays. Drivers that must travel through the affected areas should expect delays and should reduce speed and use caution while traveling through the work zones and along the detour routes.

The work is being completed as part of an $8 million reconstruction project designed by the Town of Danvers and constructed by MassDOT.
