RCA Danvers Named A Best Treatment Facility In MA: Newsweek

Newsweek ranked Recovery Centers of American Danvers second in the state for best quality substance use disorder treatment.

DANVERS, MA — Newsweek Magazine recently named Recovery Centers of America at Danvers one of the top treatment centers in Massachusetts for substance abuse.

RCA Danvers was ranked second in the magazine's listing based on reputation and quality of care. Quality of care was determined based on the quality of treatment, service, follow-up, accommodations and amenities.

"We are honored to have the trust of so many patients working to change their lives," said RCA at Danvers Chief Executive Officer Laura Ames. "Helping patients achieve recovery amid a global pandemic has been challenging and I am so proud of my team of clinicians and staff for working so hard to provide outstanding treatment to substance-use disorder patients in this region during the COVID crisis.

Ames credited the high ranking to the treatment center's innovative programs, such as the RESCU program for first responders and military service members, PRISE program for patients who have multiple treatment episodes, a specialized program for the LGBTQJA+ community and the Evolutions program for older adults.

Newsweek's Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2021 distinguishes the best treatment facilities in the top 25 states with the most treatment facilities using data from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

The rankings were performed by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a market-leading statistics data and industry ranking company.
