2 Boston Men Arrested for Armed Robbery in Dedham

Two Boston men were arrested in Dedham Wednesday evening after allegedly committing an armed robbery in the Bridge Street area.

Antoine Brothers, 22, of Boston, and Marvin Chery, 18, of Hyde Park, were arrested and charged with armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Police responded to 148 Bridge Street around 5:30 p.m. after learning of a reported armed robbery. Upon arriving at the scene, officers learned the victim was robbed of cash at gunpoint by two African-American males in a blue Lincoln vehicle.

The suspects fled the scene, but the victim was able to provide police with a description of the men and their vehicle’s registration.

Officers later observed the vehicle being operated on Milton Street. The vehicle was then pulled over in the area of the Readville MBTA station.

The men inside the vehicle were consistent with the descriptions provided by the victim. A loaded .22 caliber pistol was found inside the glove compartment.

The suspects were identified by the victim as the individuals that committed the robbery.

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.

The men will appear in court on a later date.
