VACANCY—Sustainability Committee

Pursuant to Section 6-13 of the Dedham Home Rule Charter, the Board of Selectmen calls the attention of all residents and others to the fact the following vacancies exist.

Sustainability Committee—Two members
Three-year term to expire 2015

About the Sustainability Committee
The Sustainability Committee shall advise the Board of Selectmen on strategies for advancing the Town’s commitment to renewable energy, at the municipal, business and residential level and shall educate Dedham residents and encourage energy conservation and sustainability by addressing the long term impacts of fossil fuels such as pollution, global warming and climate change, thereby engaging the community in making smart energy choices and forging the patch for a sustainable Dedham that will have a long-lasting, positive impact on future generations.

How To Apply
Any person who desires to be considered for appointment for this position must respond between September 6th and September 16th; interested persons shall file with the Board of Selectmen, his/her name and residential address, and a resume and/or statement which sets forth in clear and specific terms the qualifications he/she holds for the position.

Applications must be received by the close of business on September 16, 2012.
