Dedham Junior Women’s Club Supports Local Organizations
The DJWC supports local organizations with funds raised from their Annual Craft Fair which is on November 22, 2025 at Dedham Middle School.
Several local community organizations will receive financial assistance from the Dedham Junior Women’s Club this month. At last night’s general meeting of the Dedham Junior Women’s Club, the general membership voted on the following:
- $500 in support of the Dedham Food Pantry which is undergoing a surge in clients.
- $525 to purchase fifteen pies from Community Servings “Pie in the Sky” Fundraiser. Community Servings, based in Jamaica Plain, provides medically tailored meals for people who are home bound due to severe medical conditions, including those undergoing cancer treatment. Community Servings helps people throughout the state. The pies purchased will be donated back to the organization to be distributed to those in need.
- $500 to Mother Brook Community Arts Center in Dedham to support a felting workshop for all that will be presented at their Open Studios on December 6th and 7th.
- $250 to sponsor a holiday tree at the Mass. Horticultural Society’s Festival of Tree at Elm Bank. This is a fun-filled family event and popular fundraiser for Mass. Horticultural Society. The DJWC tree theme will be “Winter Wonderland.”
The Dedham Junior Women’s Club is able to support these organizations and others like them because of the money raised by their annual craft show. This year’s craft show will be Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Dedham Middle School, 70 Whiting Ave., Dedham.
This year all the crafters’ spots are rented and there will be close to ninety juried crafters at the event. If you are determined to shop locally this holiday season, then the DJWC Craft Show is the place to start your holiday shopping. Luncheon will also be served in the cafeteria starting at 11:00 am. Shoppers can also take chances to win a donated item from the show’s crafters at the Crafters Raffle Table.
