Dedham Police Nab Suspect for Indecent Exposure

Police in Dedham have charged man wanted for exposing himself to a female subject in a public setting, officials confirm.

A detail officer working on Washington Street spotted the suspect, who was later identified as a 66-year-old man from Weymouth. Police charged the man with lewd, wanton and lascivious conduct.

Police say the man was tied to an alleged incident in Dedham Square in which he offended a female victim with the “apparent intention to self-arouse.” The victim confirmed to police that the suspect’s actions were lewd, wanton and lascivious in nature.

Police did not reveal the suspect’s identity nor the specifics of the incident.
