Dedham Square Construction Update, September 16

According to contractors, the reconstruction of the sidewalk on the northerly side of High Street- from Washington Street to Court street will begin.  The sidewalk will be closed for up to three weeks, and the eight on-street parking spaces will be unavailable.

The construction on High Street,from Eastern Avenue to Washington Street, will continue this week.  The sidewalk will be closed for up to two weeks, and the seven on-street parking spaces will also be unavailable.

The reconstruction of the Keystone Parking Lot retaining wall will continue this week.  The work will continue on the street side, and trees will be placed.  The on-street parking on High Street will be unavailable.

And the installation of street trees and landscaping will continue this week.  According to the contractors, the trees will be placed on Washington Street.  But the four trees that are in front of the Registry of Deeds will not be cut down as part of the project.
