Fire crews in Dedham responded to a large blaze at the Brookdale Cemetery Thursday afternoon.A large pile of yard waste went up in flames just before 12:30 p.m. Crews were able to extinguish the fire within an hour.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.A backhoe and operator was provided by the cemetery staff on request of the fire department.
