Five Things You Need to Know: Apr. 1, Democratic Town Committee, Story-time and More

Today's Weather: Today there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Then increasing clouds, with a high near 62.  For tonight, more showers, mainly before 7 p.m. Then mostly cloudy, with a low around 27, according to The National Weather Service.

1. Solid Body Fitness, 123 Stergis Way in Dedham, will have an Intro to Olympic Lifting class at 7 p.m. The class costs $20 to join.

2. The Dedham American Legion Band will have their rehearsal at 7:30 p.m.  The rehearsal will take place at 115 Eastern Ave. in Dedham.

3. The Dedham Public Library, Endicott Branch, 257 Mount Vernon St. in Dedham, will have their Storytime at 10:30 a.m. This program is designed for young children and their parents/caregivers.

4. The Allin Congregational Church, 683 High St. in Dedham, will have a Yoga for Health & Healing class at 6 p.m. The class costs $13.

5. The Dedham Democratic Town Committee will have their meeting at the Endicott Estate at 6:45 p.m. The DTC encourages registered Democrats and newly-registered voters, through education and information, and join the Democratic Party political activities.
