For Christie Coombs, it's hard not to think about it.
“This is when it hits home for us,” she told the Boston Herald. “It’s there every day, but today it’s going to be all over the news. This month is harder than the rest of the year, because it’s in your face.”

According to the Boston Herald, Coombs said to that she will start today with a blood drive, and then watch Mayor lay a memorial wreath in the Public Garden.
She said she will then walk to the steps of the State House for a reading of the names of 9/11 victims, hosted by Gov. .
Coombs’ will then go to the Rose Kennedy Greenway, where she will help prepare 1,000 care packages for troops.
