Man Killed When Crossing Dedham Street Identified

DEDHAM, MA — A Nashua man was killed while crossing a Dedham street Tuesday night.

Police have identified the man as Stephen Hogan, 49, of Nashua, New Hampshire.

Dedham police responded to a 911 call that brought them to the area of Providence Highway near Route 1 and Elm Street around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.

They say Hogan had been hit by a car while crossing the street and declared him dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
