UPDATED: More Than 1,500 without Power in Dedham

DEDHAM, MA - While some residents are reporting they have their power back, there are still more than 1,500 people without power in Dedham Sunday morning.

Residents are reporting the power went out around 8 a.m. Sunday morning. Just before 10 a.m., Eversource says 1,554 customers in Dedham do not have power.

Eversource says the outage is due to damaged high voltage equipment. Crews have been dispatched and as of 9:55 a.m., they anticipate power to be restored by 1:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

By 10:30 a.m. Sunday, some residents in the impacted area reported their power was back up.
