UPDATED: I-95 Reopened After Pedestrian Killed in Dedham

Two lanes of the highway were closed after the Roslindale woman was struck in the roadway. The investigation continues.

A pedestrian has been killed in a crash on I-95 south in Dedham Sunday night. And police are looking for a possible second victim.

All lanes are now open as police continue to investigate the crash.

Reports of the accident came in just before 6 p.m. Sunday night. The right two lanes of the highway and Exit 15B were closed. They were reopened around 7:30 p.m.

Dedham Fire officials said a 44-year-old woman was struck in the travel lanes of 95 and died on the scene. Officials do not yet know why the woman was walking on the highway. There were initial reports of a possible second victim. There is no further information regarding the second victim, and fire officials have declined to identify the primary victim, pending notification of her family.

State Police are on scene.
