Team USA Skaters Launch Skate Necklace at Kendra Scott's Dedham Store

Part of the proceeds will benefit The Skating Club of Boston's Always Champions campaign to honor those lost in January plane crash

The Skating Club of Boston has partnered with Kendra Scott to launch the skate necklace at their Dedham location in Legacy Place. As part of their Kendra Gives Back program, the event benefited the Club's Always Champions fundraising campaign to create permanent memorials for the six local Club members that were lost in a January 29th plane crash.

Local Team USA members, US Pairs Champions Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov and US Pewter medalists Emily Chan and Spencer Howe, were on hand for the event on Monday, July 14th. During the event, 20% of the purchases benefited the Always Champions campaign. From July 14-17, skating fans can also purchase the skate necklace online with 20% of those purchases benefiting the Always Champions campaign. To shop online and support Always Champions, use the code: GIVEBACK-CHAMPIONS at checkout.

The Always Champions campaign will create permanent memorials, scholarships and places of remembrance at the Norwood skating facility. In addition, the Club will host a Frozen 5K on August 21st, where anyone can participate to raise funds for the campaign. For more information on the campaign and upcoming events, please visit the Club’s website.
