Today is Town Election Day: Who's on the Ballot in Dedham

This year only three races in April's town election will be contested, with the remaining eight boards and positions left without a challenger.

There were some residents who were able to pull papers that would have created races, a few did not return enough signatures to stay in the election.

For Dedham Parks and Recreation, Danielle Vhlahos and Sal Ledda are running for the one open seat.

Monika E. Wilkinson, Cecilia T. Emery-Butler, Michael Chalifoux and Daniel T. Barkowitz are all running to fill two seats for the Trustees of the Public Library.

Then there are 20 residents listed to fill 13 spots for the the Town Meeting Members Precinct 1.
