Town Of Dedham: Road Construction Updates

Eastern Ave: 

• We have installed the granite curbing and are now grading for sidewalks. 
• The contractor installed the bases for the Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons on East St at Clark Street and East Street at Barrows Street. 
• The sidewalk contractor will be installing forms for the concrete ramps and sidewalks on Thursday and Friday.
• They will be pouring concrete on Friday and Monday in these locations.

Adams St Madison St Shiretown Rd Lilly Ln Netta Rd River Street

• These streets have been milled and the utility boxes are being raised to the correct height on all streets
• River Street will be milled from Oakdale Square to Milton Street on Thursday July 24

Blossom St Washington St Richards St Metcalf Rd

• These gas trenches will be milled and paved this week.  Each residence on each Street will be receiving individual notices from the Gas Company

Eversource Gas

• Elmwood Ave the installation of gas services is continuing.
• Court Street / Washington Street installation of the gas main is continuing

Rustcraft Rd

• Eversource Electric is installing new poles for all the utilities to transfer on to.  There will be crews on site doing minor work and laying out utilities.

Bridge Street

• The sidewalk work is continuing.  The utility companies are still transferring wires to the new poles.

Trenton Rd Playground

• The lot has been cleared by the DPW
• We will begin installing gravel later this week.
