The Greyhound Friends Education Outreach Program will be at Dover-Sherborn Middle School on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 9:00 a.m. Representatives from Hopkinton-based animal charity <a href="http://www.greyhound.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Greyhound Friends</a> will be speaking to 40 eighth graders in the gym. The Greyhound Friends Educational Outreach Program features a team of trained presenters and dogs traveling to elementary schools, libraries, and other community locations to teach children and families about greyhounds. The program's core message stresses kindness to animals and the value of involvement in one's community, while educating students about the unique history and characteristics of the greyhound breed. The Outreach Program will come free of charge to a school or group.
