Tuesday- Dec. 13, 2011

Animal Complaint- 8:12 a.m.

Dover Road- Reporting party located a dog on Dover Road and brought it to the police station. The dog became aggressive to the assisting officer. By-law citation issued. Animal Control Officer notified.

Erratic Operation- 3:11 p.m.

Centre Street- Reporting party reported a black Lincoln with livery plates passing cars heading toward Medfield. Area checked, gone on arrival.

Mutual Aid- 3:13 p.m.

Strawberry Hill Street- Needham PD requested a cruiser to investigate a hit and run in their down.

 

Wednesday- Dec. 14, 2011 

Hazardous Condition- 8:45 a.m.

Willow Street- Officer reported a low hanging branch blocking a travel lane. Officer notified the highway department.

 

Thursday- Dec. 15, 2011

Illegal Dumping/Trash- 10:25 a.m.

Claybrook Road- Officer reported a 5-gallon bucket filled with trash left on conservation land. Highway department notified.

Fraud- 12:00 p.m.

Riverside Drive- Reporting party stated that her credit card was used to make fraudulent charges.

Motor Vehicle Crash- 5:17 p.m.

Pine Street- Caller reported that her husband may have driven off the road as he swerved to avoid a deer in the road. Officers checked the last known location of the motorist. Officers located the disabled motor vehicle and waited for AAA to assist. No injuries reported.

 

Friday- Dec. 16, 2011

Trespass- 7:15 a.m.

Dedham Street, Sage Farm- Reporting party said that someone was trespassing and feeding the horses around 7:00 a.m. The reporting party said he will have an attorney draft a letter of disinvite.

Utility Complaint- 12:45 p.m.

Cornell Road- Caller stated that there was a loud explosion and then the power went out.

Investigation- 3:25 p.m.

Haven Street- Boston Police arrested three people for breaking and entering and believe the suspects were in Dover around noontime that day.

 

Saturday- Dec. 17, 2011

Noise Complaint- 2:41 p.m.

Meeting House Hill Road- Reporting party came into the station to complain about a neighbor's wind chime. She stated she wanted to pursue mediation with the neighbor to find a resolution.

Suspicious Activity- 7:08 p.m.

Wilsondale Street- Caller stated that there were two individuals on his property with flashlights near the house. Officers located a hunter on the property that was tracking a deer that was previously shot on a neighbor's property. Hunter has permission to hunt there.

 

Sunday- Dec. 18, 2011

Assisted Citizen- 3:42 p.m.

Farm Street- A mother called because her teenage son got his hand caught in a log while splitting wood. An officer assisted the teen in removing his hand from the log. No injuries.

Medical Emergency- 6:22 p.m.

Grand Hill Drive- 9-1-1 caller reported that a pressure cooker blew up in his mother-in-law's face and that she had hot burns to her face and body. Patient was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham.

 

Monday- Dec. 19, 2011

9-1-1 Call- 7:58 a.m.

Centre Street- Residrnt called regarding a man in camoflauge with a large rifle. The party was across the street from her home and had gotten out of a pickup truck.
