Five Things You Need To Know About Today: March 11

Be sure to check here daily for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn today.

1. Seventh and eighth graders at the D-S Middle School will be having a Hawaiian themed dance from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Middle School Gym. All proceeds to the dance will be to benefit "Free The Children."

2. Today is the last school day before spring vacation at the Charles River School. Spring Vacation will be from March 12 to March 27. The fifth graders will get an early start to vacation today with a field trip to the Museum of Science in Boston from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

3. At the Dover Town Library today, teens can come watch the sci-fi movie "The Matrix" from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please note that the film is rated R for violence and brief language.

4. At the Sherborn Library today will be the Mother Goose Lapsit at 10:00 a.m. for children up to 2-years-old. Storytime, for kids ages 2-years-old to 5-years-old, will be at 10:30 a.m.

5. There will be a Joint School Committee meeting at the Dover-Sherborn Middle School at 7:30 a.m. today.
