The Lady Raiders varsity basketball team found themselves on the wrong end of a lopsided score Friday night, falling 65-19 to Hopkinton at home. Senior captain AJ Dessert contributed 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist in the game. But the Hillers size and athleticism was too much for D-S to handle. Tori Weden came off the bench to pull down 5 rebounds for the Lady Raiders. D-S is now 5-7 on the season and 4-6 in Tri Valley League play. The Lady Raiders need five wins out of their remaining nine games, to qualify for postseason play. They travel to Norton (1-11) on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. matchup.
