Jim Repetti to Run for Dover Town Moderator

Repetti has been the Assistant Town Moderator since 2005.

Jim Repetti has announced his candidacy for Dover Town Moderator to fill the vacancy created by the announcement of Pam Ellsworth that she will not seek reelection. 

Repetti has served as the Assistant Town Moderator since 2005 and also serves as the Deputy Director of Dover’s Emergency Management Department.  Last year, Repetti was also a member of Dover’s Police Chief Search Committee. Several years ago, he chaired the Dover Planning Board and Master Plan Committee.

Repetti and his wife, Sue, raised three children in Dover. He served as the Scoutmaster of Troop 1 Dover and coached many of their sports teams.

Repetti, an attorney, is a professor of law at Boston College Law School where he holds an endowed chair and is also a Dean of Academics.

He said would like to continue Dover’s tradition of openness in Town government and of efficiently conducted at Town Meetings.
