Friday, May 31 7:31 a.m.: A caller reported a large snapping turtle is close to the road. An officer located the turtle and determined it was not a hazard.  9:12 a.m.: A caller reported a large snapping turtle on her porch. An officers was able to bring the animal to a nearby pond.  9:22 p.m.: A resident of Pine Street reported a generator producing sparks during a power outage. Police reported the propane generator is very hot and has been shut off at the source.
