Officers Respond to Report of Home Break-In

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Wednesday, May 8

12:15 a.m.: A caller reported someone broke into her home. An officer arrived on scene and was unable to get the resident to open the door. Police later discovered no one broke into the home and the caller was suffering from a medical condition. The resident was transported to MetroWest Hospital in Natick. 

12:05 p.m.: A resident reported there has been vandalism to the telephone panel on the side of her home. An officer responded and reported that the damage was caused by an animal. The caller later contacted police and reported video footage showed sprinkler system maintenance crews had done the damaege.

8:43 p.m.: A caller requested a well-being check after his father was scratched by a cat and stopped texting. An ambulance transported a patient to Beth Israel Hospital in Needham.
