Donner has come a long way after a few months in the Shelter's care and will allow us to pet him and even hold him now! He is in our cagefree room and seems to get a little friendlier every day and gets along well with the other cats and the bunny. We are hoping he will be adopted by a patient person who will give him time to settle in. We have seen cats like him get very friendly over time if given a chance. Donner and his brother, Dancer, came to us on 12/13/11 when they were about 6 months old. The home owner that had been feeding them in her yard talked to them and their mother every day, but she didn't realize the best time to call a shelter to help them was right away, and not when they were practically adults and were already wary of humans.
