Fraud- 2:55 p.m.

Brookfield Road- Resident dropped off a scam letter that he received soliciting money. No money was sent or lost. Letter taken for information purposes.

Burglar Alarm- 11:48 p.m.

Pine Street- Alarm company reports alarm activation at residence. Officers checked the residence. All secure.

Traffic Enforcement- 4:57 a.m.

Eliot Street- Two citations issued.

Traffic Enforcement- 9:47 p.m.

North Main Street and Coolidge Street- One citation issued.

Tuesday- April 5, 2011

Dover

Animal Lost/Missing- 8:44 a.m.

Sherbrooke Drive- Resident reported to officers that her medium sized black and white dog took off while on a walk. Animal located. Owner notified.

Parked Motor Vehicle- 1:41 p.m.

Haven Street- Caller stated that there is a vehicle parked on his property and would like it removed. Tow company called. Vehicle removed from property.

Vandalism- 3:14 p.m.

Turtle Lane, Mass. Horticultural Society- Reporting party reported that a mailbox was stolen on Turtle Lane.

Hazardous Conditions- 9:18 a.m.

Lake Street and Farm Road- Report of  tree limb down in the roadway.

Animal Complaint- 1:13 p.m.

Forest Street- Reporting party has an issue with a neighbor's dog coming onto their property. Aware of leash law and tried to resolve the problem with the neighbor.

Dover

Motor Vehicle Complaint- 7:43 a.m.

Centre Street and Walpole Street- Caller stated that she believes two males in a black Chrysler were smoking some type of contraband. Reporting party stated that the two males in their twenties were at a traffic light on Centre Street.

Animal Complaint- 10:57 a.m.

Grand Hill Road- Resident stated that his cats had been playing with a dead bat and wanted to know what precautions should be taken. Animal Control Officer spoke with party and problem was resolved.

Animal Complaint- 12:36 p.m.

Centre Street- Party reported that she is having problems with a coyote in her backyard. 

Missing Person- 8:51 p.m.

Junction Street, Dover-Sherborn High School- Sherborn PD called to report a student missing from the High School. Officers sent out. Student was located. All ok.

9-1-1 Medical Emergency- 10:05 a.m.

South Main Street- Caller reported he is having an allergic retain. Vehicle moved off the roadway, not causing a hazard. Vehicle was secured. Keys taken to station for safe keeping.

Traffic Enforcement- 6:02 p.m.

Lake Street- Two citations issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 8:06 a.m.

Centre Street- Verbal warning issued for running a red light. 

Burglar Alarm- 7:11 p.m.

Turtle Lane- House checked. Secure.

Sherborn

Hazardous Conditions- 1:12 p.m.

Farm Road- Reporting party stated that they see an unattended brush fire on Farm Road. Open permits in area.

Animal Complaint- 4:30 p.m.

Russett Hill Road- Two 13-year-old girls found a snake and thought that it might be dangerous. Officer assisted/snake deceased.

Friday- April 8, 2011

Dover

Brush Fire- 10:34 a.m.

Hartford Street- Calling party reported that his brush fire has spread beyond the burn pile. Fire Department dispatched. Fire was extinguished.

Malicious Destruction- 6:06 p.m.

Turtle Lane, Mass. Horticultural Society- Car was parked at Elm Bank last night between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and was vandalized.

Noise Complaint- 8:26 p.m.

Centre Street- Reporting party reported hearing several possible gun shots. Officers checked area. Nothing found.

Sherborn

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud- 1:07 p.m.

North Main Street, Sherborn Day Spa- Report of a woman writing bad checks. Court summons issued to a Wellesley woman for larceny by check under $250.

Complaint- 6:42 p.m.

Course Brook Road- Report of seven teenagers sitting in the middle of the street smoking. Juveniles had left the area before officers had arrived.

Saturday- April 9, 2011

Dover

B&E Motor Vehicle- 3:16 p.m.

Powissett Street- Reporting party called and said her vehicle had been broken into some time today. The vehicle was parked in one of the pull-offs near the trails. Report filed and general broadcast sent out to neighboring departments.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 11:35 p.m.

Springdale Avenue, Channing Pond- Verbal warning. Citation issued for marked lanes violation, citation to passenger for seatbelt violation.

Animal Complaint- 8:13 a.m.

Coolidge Street- Cat at side of road possibly expired. Will hold for a time in the event that there is a report of a missing cat.

9-1-1 Suspicious Activity- 9:18 p.m.

Farm Road- Caller reported a vehicle parked in the driveway. Pizza delivery man went to the wrong address.

Complaint- 11:08 p.m.

Green Lane- Caller reported hearing approximately 10 shots in the area. Vehicle parked in the area. No one around.

Animal Complaint- 11:07 a.m.

Meeting House Hill Road and Church Street- Reporting party said there is a sick animal in a tree. ACO reported that it was a ground hog that was healthy and no further action was needed. 

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:04 p.m.

Centre Street- Verbal warning issued for speeding.

Suspicious Activity- 10:40 a.m.

South Main Street- Two individuals walking down South Main Street- Male urinating on the side of the road has Alzheimer's.

9-1-1 Brush Fire- 12:16 p.m.

Russett Hill Road- Officers assisted.

Maple Street- Accidental. Party trying to make an international call.
