Burglar Alarm- 11:41 p.m.

Stonegate Lane- Alarm, foyer motion detector. Residence checked ok.

Suspicious Activity- 3:01 p.m.

Farm Street and Wight Street- Walk in reported a suspicious male in a vehicle on Wight Street. Officers checked the area. The vehicle had pulled over because he was tired.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Crash- 6:42 a.m.

Whitney Street and Whitney Drive- Car vs. pole. Operator was transported to Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.

9-1-1 Motor Vehicle Crash- 7:29 a.m.

South Main Street and Bullard Street- Rollover. No people injured. Vehicle was towed.

 

Tuesday- March 1, 2011

Dover 

Road Conditions- 6:28 a.m.

Dedham Street and Strawberry Hill Street- Caller reported icy roads. Highway contacted and sent sanders out.

General Services- 10:01 a.m.

Fire Tower, Pine Street- Officer went up to the fire tower to check on phone line issues. Everything checked ok.

Sherborn

Hazardous Conditions- 10:14 a.m.

Woodland Street and Ash Lane- Caller reported a large pot hole in the road. CM&D notified, cones put in the area.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 9:12 p.m.

Bullard Street- Osmar Silva DaSilva of 36 South Street in Framingham was arrested for operating a vehicle after license or right to operate was suspended and marked lanes violation.

 

Wednesday- Feb. 2, 2011

Dover

Larceny Over $250- 6:49 a.m.

Wight Street and Glen Street- Caller was riding a bike when he put his black canvs bag down on the corner and went back to his house to get something. When he returned the bag was gone. The bag contained his wallet, lunch, and cellphone.

Unwanted Person- 9:07 a.m.

Centre Street- Resident called about an unwanted party pounding on the windows and doors. Officer reported that it was a misunderstanding with Terminex.

Sherborn

Illegal Dumping- 2:05 p.m.

Western Avenue- A mattress was left in the area. CM&D notified.

Medical Emergency- 2:55 p.m.

North Main Street- Caller reported a passenger on a bus was having a seizure. 

 

Thursday- Feb. 3, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 12:45 p.m.

D-S High School, Junction Street- Caller requests an ambulance for a student who passed out after giving blood. Patient was transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Needham.

Medical Emergency- 8:16 p.m.

Village Hill Road- Caller requested an ambulance for her 16-year-old son who is dehydrated and feeling faint. Patient was transported to Beth Israel Hospital in Needham.

Sherborn

Motor Vehicle Stop- 1:22 p.m.

Coolidge Street- Citation issued to an unlicensed operator. Vehicle was towed. Citation issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 7:18 p.m.

Wester Avenue- Citation issued.

 

Friday- Feb. 4, 2011

Dover

Disturbance- 9:54 p.m.

Centre Street- Calling party reported he heard gunshots to the east of his residence. One resident reported he saw fireworks coming from Pine Street. Officer spoke with residents of Pine Street who stated that fireworks were coming from behind the residence in the woods.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 10:47 p.m.

Farm Street- Citation issued for speeding.

Sherborn

Complaint- 9:18 a.m.

Woodland Street and Ash Lane- Reporting party made a complaint about a bridge sinking on Woodland Street between Ash Lane entrances. CM&D director said it happens every year. Reporting party suggested putting cones out.

Erratic Operation- 5:59 p.m.

Medfield PD stated an erratic operation of a white van heading northbound on Route 27 from their town. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

 

Saturday- Feb. 5, 2011

Dover

Medical Emergency- 1:42 p.m.

Adams Lane- Caller reported 86-year-old female who passed out after vomiting. Ambulance transported elderly female passenger to Beth Israel Hospital in Needham.

Animal Complaint- 2:30 p.m.

Hartford Street- Resident reported a dead raccoon on her property may have died of rabies. Sergeant Meau removed the animal. Resident has three dogs all were brought for rabies testing. The raccoon was outside the fenced area against the fence. It appeared the dogs did have contact with the raccoon.

Sherborn

Animal Complaint- 8:20 a.m.

Ivy Lane- Black lab in the area with an unknown owner. No updated dog tags. Dog reunited with owners.

Traffic Enforcement- 11:13 a.m.

Western Avenue- Three citations issued.

 

Sunday- Feb. 6, 2011

Dover

Disturbance- 12:40 a.m.

American Legion, Dedham Street- Officer working a detail reported a verbal dispute between two parties at the location. One party left on foot. Upon making contact with one of the homeowners, officers were able to obtain the identity of the unknown party. Upon contacting the party, party refused to speak with officers. Investigation is ongoing.

Animal Lost or Missing- 3:30 p.m.

Pond Street- Reporting party found dog on Pond Street with no tags and looks lost or injured. Animal Control Officer was notified to pick up the dog. Resident of Pond Street call regarding a missing dog. She was referred to the Medfield Animal Shelter.

Sherborn

Hazardous Conditions- 5:35 p.m.

Maple Street- Report of a mailbox in the roadway. Owners notified.

Assist Other Agency- 8:08 p.m.

Kendall Avenue- Natick PD reported two vehicles were driving down near the power lines in the area of West Hill Park in Natick. Found in Natick.

 

Monday- Feb. 7, 2011

Dover

Tree Down- 4:01 a.m.

Partridge Hill Road and Donnelly Drive- Officer reported a large tree obstructing the roadway. Tree Warden notified.

Hazardous Condition- 7:46 p.m. 

Centre Street and Walpole Street- Caller stated that a transformer has blown. Officer checked area. Nothing showing.
