Sen. Ross' Office Seeking Interns

Preference will be given to candidates from the district which includes Sherborn.

Internships for college students and recent college graduates are available during the spring with the office of State Senator Richard Ross.

General intern duties include corresponding with constituents, researching legislation and gathering news clips, as well as attending formal Senate sessions and public hearings. Interns will be given flexibility to focus on a subject of interest, such as health care, or a skill area, such as communications. Internships are unpaid, but they present a great opportunity to learn about state government. Senator Ross and his staff will work with students to gain credit where applicable.

“This is a great opportunity for young people to gain real world experience in state government,” said Senator Ross. “Interns in my office will take on real challenges and will be expected to complete various tasks in a timely and professional manner.”

If a college student or recent graduate is interested, they are encouraged to send their resume and cover letter to Senator Ross’ Communications Director Erin Hearn at Erin.Hearn@masenate.gov. Preference will be given to candidates from the district which includes the towns of Attleboro, North Attleboro, Franklin, Millis, Natick, Needham, Norfolk Plainville, Sherborn, Wayland, Wellesley, and Wrentham.
